The Nokia N9 is a slider device with what looks like a full aluminium body, sliding device and amazing QWERTY keyboard. This Linux based device could well be perceived as a Nokia Booklet 3G Mini as it certainly looks as though it could be a full-bloodied portable computer.
Very little is known about the Nokia N9 other than it’s a prototype built in Finland and very much a pre-production sample.
Now, the Nokia N9 images have turned up in China, so what’s to stop this device simply being a clone? Well, Engadget seems to have been doing a little digging around, proving their excited about the Nokia N9 themselves, and revealed the device to indeed be a MeeGo 6 powered device, as well a rocking up with a Nokia device number of RM-680, which is used internally as its development code.
So, what do you think, will the Nokia N9 be making an appearance at Nokia World 2010 next month or does this device look a little too pre-production to be ready to be shown to the wider world? Whatever the case, this handsome looking handset is set to cause a stir when it finally lands – let us know what you think in the Comments below.
